This morning we are taking an early flight to Murun town, capital of the Khuvsgul province. We are driving towards the Darkhad depression. Late afternoon we will settle tour camp in the beautiful valley of nearby the entrance of taiga.

Today we will continue the s off-road drive to Tsagaanuur, a remote village located in the Darkhad depression. Distance is about 18km, but it will 5 to 8 hours off-road depending on weather conditions. The late evening group will check in at a local ger camp. Tsagaannuur village is elevated 2350m above sea level. In the village, we will prepare for the next adventure of horse tiding to the taiga.

After having breakfast in the morning we are starting our journey towards east Taiga, 4WD vehicle will help us to cross the river. Then we will meet a local horse riding guide who will take us to the taiga. Before we start guide will give instructions to ride and safety guidelines. Today we will ride about 5 hours to reach a Tsaatan tribe.

We are spending half-day experiencing the lifestyle of reindeer people and having conversations with them. After lunch with the reindeer people, we are riding our horses back to Uhert, where our jeeps are waiting for us. In the evening we will arrive back at the camp. After dinner, we will see the intriguing ritual of a Shaman, near the camp.

In the morning stay with Tsaatan people. The afternoon starts riding back to Tsagaan nuur village. Late afternoon return at the ger camp and relax.

Today we are traveling to Khuvsgul Lake by 4WD, today we will drive about 190km and tented camp nearby the beautiful valley of Mt. Delgerkhaan.

After having settled in our gers at a lakeside tourist camp we are enjoying a relaxing afternoon until dinner. Overnight in the tourist camp.

A full day of exploring the surrounding area of the beautiful blue lake. Optional activities include trekking, rafting, fishing, or horse riding. In the evening, enjoy a brief folklore singing and dancing concert at the camp.

After breakfast at the camp, transfer to Murun airport for onward flight to Ulaanbaatar or next tour.
