It takes 10 days to cover the best of Mongolia in shortest possible time with peace of mind and experiencing local culture along with natural beauties. This tour takes to the most popular tour destinations including Gobi, Terelj National Park and Huvsgul Lake and we promise the highest standard of services. It is a complete experience of Mongolia at its best and a very educational tour on its own right. Apart from enjoying the splendid scenery of the desert, national parks and lake, you learn a lot from our unique culture and lifestyle, yet diverse from one region to other.


DAY 01. ULAANBAATAR
Upon arrival, be met and transfer to your hotel for 1 night stay. This afternoon visit the Natural History Museum, where you have a chance to see all flora and fauna of Mongolia and complete dinosaur skeletons and eggs.   Evening program will be traditional concert with throat singers followed by a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. 


DAY 02. SOUTH GOBI
Breakfast at the hotel.  Transfer to the airport for your flight to the South Gobi.

The Gobi is a desert like no other. Flat, arid plains stretch for thousands of miles interrupted by the occasional lone ger herd of goats, camel or sheep. The Gobi desert is the least populated area of Mongolia and despites its arid climate, it supports a diverse array of bird and animal life.  On arrival, you will be met and drive to Yoliin Am (Eagle Valley).  This is a long valley with high cliff walls that shade some areas of the valley floor from the sun year-round, allowing stunning ice sheets to form.  We’ll walk through the valley and see ibex grazing on the cliff faces.  The wildlife in this area is abundant and desert plants are vibrant and varied. This area is situated in the Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park, which encompasses the ‘Three Beauties” peaks and the eastern-most points of the Altai Mountains. Overnight at camp.


DAY 03. KHONGOR SAND DUNE
Drive to Khongor sand dune well known as Singing Dune. Khongor sand dune is one of the biggest sand dunes of Mongolia Reaching heights of 800m. It has an extraordinary length of approximate 100kms and 12 kilometers wide. There is an oasis near a river Khongor at the northern edge of the sand dunes. After long drive, we will have an opportunity to use a different type of transport.  Rise early and we will ride camels today to explore the massive sand dunes.  Tow-humped camels are comfortable to ride as they are slow, gentle walkers.  Guided by our camel man, we will explore and picnic at the dunes, and visit with a local camel breeder’s family.  Overnight at Camp.


Day 04. BAYANZAG FLAMING CLIFFS
We leave the dune and drive about 3 hours to Bayanzag, also known as the Flaming Cliffs, the name coined by explorer Roy Chapman Andrew on his famous Central Asiatic Expeditions.  Along the way, enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Gobi desert endless steppe.  Bayanzag is where the complete petrified dinosaur skeleton and dinosaur eggs of the Cretaceous period were found.  We will visit a local archaeological museum and explore the site.  Overnight at ger camp.


DAY 05. KHUVSGUL LAKE
After breakfast at camp transfer to local airport for flight to Murun. Continue our tour to Lake Khuvsgul, as a dubbed as Mongolia Switzerland and a lake surrounded with lash green forest mountains. In addition, it is a 1% of fresh water resource of the world. In the evening hiking along the lake shore and enjoy open fire on the lake shore. On the way visit Uushig Uvur deer stone monument complex from bronze age.  Overnight at ger camp.


Day 06. REINDEER PEOPLE VISIT
Visit Tsaatan well known as reindeer people where located app 50kms from our campsite and it takes two and half hours of driving. (Depends year around) There will be two families one is Tsaatan, reindeer herder and Shaman. Late afternoon return to the camp and relax.  Overnight at ger camp.


DAY 07.  DAY AT LAKE
Relax at the camp. In the afternoon boat trip to wooden island in the middle of the lake. Late afternoon return to the camp and relax. Overnight at camp.


DAY 08. TERELJ NATIONAL PARK
Rise early for our drive back to the local airstrip for our return flight to Ulaanbaatar. Continue our tour to  Terelj national park we will have an organized horse trek to visit nomadic families.  There will also be time to explore this beautiful, scenery and turtle rock and Aryabalo temple. This evening, we will be entertained with a traditional folklore performance followed by a farewell dinner with a special Mongolian meal called ‘Khorkhog.’  This is mutton cooked slowly in a huge metal urn with vegetables, water and hot stones from a flaming fire.  The meat becomes soft and tasty and the water turns into a thick, meaty broth. Overnight at camp.


DAY 09. ULAANBAATAR
After a leisurely breakfast, we drive 50 km back to Ulaanbaatar to do city tour in Ulaanbaatar, including a visit to the Bogd Khaan Palace, which is a series of beautiful traditional buildings in which the last religious King of Mongolia resided. Visit the Gandan Monastery with its huge gold plated Buddha; a symbol of Mongolian national pride and cultural revival.  See the monks chanting, spin some prayer wheels and view the intricately embroidered thankas.  Re-check in your hotel.


DAY 10. DEPARTURE
